As part of the Musicals for Young Audiences (MYA) Program, representatives from Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) recently delivered free copies of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach to students in 41 schools across 13 districts in the greater Houston area including La Porte ISD, Houston ISD, Fort Bend ISD and Spring Branch ISD.

Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Willy Wonka),  begins performances Tuesday, March 28, 2017 and officially opens Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Arthur Darvill's work ranges from TV shows like Doctor Who, Broadchurch and Legends of Tomorrow to starring in Once in the West End and on Broadway, as well as composing music for projects like the recent stage adaption of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox. This Sunday, he and Samantha Barks lead the UK premiere of Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas, in a special concert presentation with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra.

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures has just announced that Academy Award winner Bill Condon (Disney's Beauty & the Beast, Gods and Monsters, Chicago and Dreamgirls) will direct the first stage adaptation of A STAR IS BORN, based on the 1954 Warner Bros. motion picture. The new musical is in early development and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures will announce a production timeline in the near future.

TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, is coming to San Jose as part of Broadway San Jose's 2016-17 season.
