Mauckingbird Theatre Company will present John Logan's remarkable crime drama, Never the Sinner: The Leopold and Loeb Story, directed by Mauckingbird Artistic Director Peter Reynolds. The company's fourth production follows Mauckingbird's lesbian adaptation of Hedda Gabler (2009) and the critically acclaimed all-male versions of The Misanthrope (2008) and Shakespeare's R & J (2008).

Geva Theatre Center is gearing up for the What's Next: Festival of New Theatre (formerly known as Hibernatus Interruptus) which offers audiences the rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a play in progress as well as the chance to talk to the playwrights about their work. Emmy winner Rosie O'Donnell has signed on to star in and executive produce the poignant new Lifetime Original Movie, 'America,' premiering in February 2009. Based on E.R. Frank's book of the same name, the film follows the story of a boy named America, an emotionally vacant sixteen-year-old, who spent his entire life shuffled through the foster care system. O'Donnell stars as a therapist who gives America the support he needs to deal with his troubled past and helps him find the courage to live.

Three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella is among the American theater world's greatest living actors. Though he gained recognition as a film star in the 1970s, the stage has always been his first love. He spoke candidly with CBS Sunday Morning's Tracy Smith about his career, the work of an actor and the price of fame. His career off-Broadway was launched with an Obie Award in 1965 for his performance in poet-playwright Robert Lowell's The Old Glory: Benito Cereno. His other major off-Broadway productions include Edmond Rostand's Cyrano, Arthur Miller's After the Fall, John Webster's The White Devil, Heinrich von Kleist's The Prince of Homburg, Andre Gide's The Immortalist and Shakespeare's The Tempest. Langella's triumphs on Broadway include Tony Awards for Edward Albee's Seascape, for Turgeneve's Fortune's Fool and last year for his role as President Richard Nixon in the New York production of Frost/Nixon. He was just seen on Broadway in the recent Roundabout Theatre Company production of A Man for All Seasons.
