Richard Rose, Artistic Director of Tarragon Theatre, announced casting for the second half of the theatre's 45th anniversary season today.

?"Miracles can happen if you truly believe" is the theme of the heartwarming Christmas classic at Barter Theatre this holiday season. "Miracle on 34th Street" will take the stage beginning November 20

Barter Theatre unveils the 2016 production schedule with a behind-the-scenes preview of what the next season has in store. Producing Artistic Director Richard Rose announces an exciting season filled with comedy, drama and many world-famous shows patrons will recognize from their silver-screen adaptations.

Casting is announced and rehearsals are underway for the world premiere of Wormwood by actor and acclaimed playwright Andrew Kushnir (Small Axe, The Middle Place, The Gay Heritage Project) in his first play for Tarragon Theatre.

"The setting is a nameless South Side Chicago blues club," said Myler, who'll direct the production for the Playhouse. "It's Saturday night, into Sunday morning. The linking dialogue is from actual blues artists that we interviewed, but it's the music that drives the piece."

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's popular Off the Hill series for families launches its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of Allyson Currin's HIGH SCHOOL ALIEN, which was commissioned by the Playhouse in 2013.
