The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the new Broadway hit written by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and directed by Tony® Award-winner Roger Rees (Nicholas Nickleby) and Tony® Award-nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Pee-wee Herman Show), have announced that a new block of tickets are now on sale for the season's most Tony-nominated play. Tickets can now be purchased through September 30, 2012, via Ticketmaster and in person at the box office of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47 Street).

Producers Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price and Tom Smedes announced today that Rick Elice's new play, Peter and the Starcatcher, will embark on a national tour, opening in August 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO. The play's Tony Award-nominated directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, will direct the touring production, which will be represented by The Road Company.

The producers of SILENCE! The Musical, recently put a new block of seats on sale through today, May 6th at P.S. 122. SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, opened July 9, 2011.

Nominations in 14 categories were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will once again benefit The Actors Fund. The Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00pm EST.

BROADWAY ROX, a new concert event, recently played Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South in Flushing Meadows Corona Park). Produced by Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, BROADWAY ROX celebrated the rock and pop hits of Broadway including songs from Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Who's Tommy, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, Hair, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more. The musical evening featured a 5 piece band with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Jason Howland (composer of Little Women) and is directed by Rob Evan and Rich Affannato. The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, will celebrate the classic thriller's birthday with a special added late show this Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 PM at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) This season's hit, SILENCE! The Musical, has a book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, and has been extended 5 times to date.

Brent Barrett, Jenn Harris and the entire cast of SILENCE! The Musical took to the stage at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble yesterday, February 23rd at 5 PM to perform selections from the hit parody of the classic film The Silence of the Lambs. Brian J.
