UNCHAIN MY HEART, The Ray Charles Musical, featuring the music of Ray Charles with a book by Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Sheldon Epps will begin previews October 8, 2010 and open officially November 7, 2010 on Broadway at a Shubert Theatre to be announced.

What a busy week it's been at Center Stage. Sunday was their very successful Radio Auction. The American premiere of Let There Be Love ends Sunday March 7 and a trio of three short works entitled Working It Out (by Aaron Sorkin, Lynn Rosen, and Rick Cleveland) runs to March 28.
LA Opera Announces 2010-2011 Schedule

The LA Opera's 2010-2011 season has been announced, and will begin on September 23 with the world premiere of Daniel Catán's IL POSTINO (THE POSTMAN). IL POSTINO will play through October 16 and star Placido Domingo. Ron Daniels will direct with scene and costume design by Riccardo Hernandez (Tony Award winner) and lighting design by Jennifer Tipton (two-time Tony Award winner).

Performances for The McCarter Theatre Center's world premiere of Will Power's Fetch Clay, Make Man, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, will begin previews tonight, January 8 with an Opening Night set for Friday, January 15, 2010. The production will run through Sunday, February 14 on the Berlind stage of McCarter Theatre Center.
