From McKinley High to Orson Elementary, Glee star and television heartthrob Chord Overstreet will guest star in the third season of the acclaimed hit comedy The Middle (Wednesdays 8/7c on ABC). Overstreet will guest star as Ralph Wilkerson, Brick Heck's shiny new, young and idealistic fourth grade teacher, whose innovative and involved teaching methods run counter to Frankie and Mike's 'more relaxed' parenting style.

Executive Producer Andrew Solt, whose company SOFA Entertainment acquired The Ed Sullivan Show library over 20 years ago, announced today that ED SULLIVAN'S COMEDY LEGENDS will premiere on PBS stations August 6th. This star-studded special brings back the show's greatest moments that defined the history of comedy, including the timeless routines of George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Red Skelton, Flip Wilson and many more.
TNT Orders Second Wave of 'Falling Skies'

TNT has renewed Falling Skies, cable's #1 new series, for a second season. The epic saga about the aftermath of an all-out invasion by an alien military force has been a tremendous hit both domestically and internationally. Falling Skies, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), stars Noah Wyle and comes to TNT from DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg. TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to air in summer 2012.
James Spader to Become an 'Office' Regular?

According to an exclusive report in Entertainment Weekly, James Spader may become a permanent fixture on NBC's 'The Office.' While he has long been rumored to be a candidate to replace Steve Carell, EW.com reports that Spader is actually in talks to replace Kathy Bates as the CEO of Dunder Mifflin.

In its latest high-profile acquisition, TNT has secured the exclusive off-network cable rights to the hit series, Castle, from Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Castle, which just completed its third highly rated season on ABC, is a crime drama starring Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Desperate Housewives) and Stana Katic (Quantum of Solace, TNT's The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice).

TNT's summer season got off to a solid start last night. The new legal dramedy FRANKLIN & BASH summoned 2,746,000 viewers for its series premiere and proved to be a hit with young adults, according to fast national data from Nielsen Media Research.
