SAVE A CHILD'S HEART (SACH), an international, humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life-saving pediatric heart surgery for indigent children from developing countries around the world, will present a benefit concert featuring a lineup of major international stars in a special evening of music and entertainment, Sunday, January 29th, 2017.

Carnegie Hall today announced the all-star lineup for A Night of Inspiration, an evening of spiritually uplifting music on Today, December 6 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Under the direction of multi-faceted producer, composer, and music director Ray Chew, the special guest artists will include Yolanda Adams, Dionne Warwick, Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin, Richard Smallwood, Cantor Azi Schwartz, and singers from the New Faith Church from Cape Town, South Africa. Additional guest artists are to be announced. This show is being presented in partnership with Chew Entertainment – a full service production company owned by Ray and Vivian Chew.

The Geffen Playhouse will honor legendary Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award-winning artists Quincy Jones and Mel Brooks at its 15th annual Backstage at the Geffen fundraiser, which honors the accomplishments of leaders in the artistic community and supports the theater's mission to produce original, quality works that inspire thought, evoke conversation, and engage the community in the live arts.

Berkeley's Jewish Circle Theatre, in association with John Gertz Productions, announces the world-premiere of Love Sick, a passionate new musical play inspired by the ancient Hebrew text, 'The Song of Songs.' As a lifelong fan of Frank Sinatra thanks in part to my Mom being one of the bobbysoxers who fawned over him as I did for the Beatles, I was thrilled to jump at the chance to attend SINATRA 101 at the El Portal in Noho on November 26, 2016 at one of the 2 shows they did that date. Since 2011, Matt Mauser and the 101 Big Band led by Pete Jacobs have been playing Frank Sinatra's greatest hits with high-octane arrangements. Their collaboration captures Sinatra at the height of his career at the Sands Hotel in early 1966, backed by Quincy Jones conducting the Count Basie Orchestra.
