V&A Exhibition Road Quarter to Open in June with Week-Long Festival

The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) has announced REVEAL, a free, week-long public festival running from 30 June to 7 July 2017.  Art and design commissions, performances, fashion, family activities and collaborations with neighbouring Albertopolis institutions will celebrate the opening of the V&A's Exhibition Road Quarter designed by the Stirling Prize-winning British architect Amanda Levete and her practice AL_A.

Selected from a pool of 119 aspiring Canadian opera singers, the final seven will take to the stage of Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts to perform selected arias in the hopes of securing a cash prize, ranging in value from $1,500 - $5,000, and a highly coveted invitation to join Canada's premier training program for young opera professionals, the COC Ensemble Studio.

Main Street Festivals to Feature Readings of Three New Musicals

Produced in association with Temple University, and now in its second year, Main Street Festivals, is a national initiative that presents annual readings of new musicals in cities across the United States over the course of a year.
