The second annual National Opera Week takes place October 29-November 7, 2010. This country-wide celebration highlights the extraordinary quality and quantity of opera activity in the United States today.

On Sunday, October 17th at 2pm, the French-based Zodiac Trio will perform on the Schneider Series at the New School School's Tishman Auditorium, making it the first clarinet-violin-piano ensemble to be presented by the series in its 54-year history.

Chicago Opera Theater (COT), partnering with the City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs, are proud to participate in this exciting, week-long celebration with 'Pop-up Opera' performances around Chicago, a young professionals' night at Rock Bottom Brewery, and a free double bill of two one-act operas at Preston Bradley Hall in the Chicago Cultural Center.
