Andrea Marcovicci to Bring MOONLIGHT Cocktail to Joe's Pub, Long Island & More in November

ANDREA MARCOVCCI is turning sixty-five this November! The tour kicks into high gear when it arrives on the east coast where Andrea debuts at both Joe's Pub (at the Public Theatre) in New York City and The Landmark Theatre in Pt. Washington, NY (Andrea's only scheduled Long Island appearance.) Plus - a return, after eight years, to the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck, NY and an appearance at the new RRazz Room in New Hope, PA (More details below). What better way to celebrate her birthday, than to honor the singers and songwriters of the 1940's and '50's that inspired the current Queen of Cabaret. The new show, "Moonlight Cocktail," began in Los Angeles at Tom Rolla's Gardenia in preparation for Andrea's debut at Michael Feinstein's latest club - Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco, and went on to an acclaimed engagement at Davenport's in Chicago.

Star of screen, stage, concert and recording star Andrea Marcovicci will be making a special concert appearance at Chicago's premier venue for music, Davenport's, 1383 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago with MOONLIGHT COCKTAIL. The six special performances will take place tonight, July 31 through Monday, August 5 at 8pm, and Sunday august 4 at 7pm.

John Znidarsic directs a cast of seven including Jared Loftin, Krista Buccellato*, Todd Thurston*, James David Larson*, Shoba Narayanan*, Dimitri Moise, and another cast member to be announced shortly.Gary Goldfarb: Master Escapist is being staged at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street (bet. 9th & 10th Avenues) in NYC for five performances from tonight, July 17 through Saturday, July 27, 2013. It may be more than 50 years since the 72-year-old Donna McKechnie made her Broadway debut in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' but she seemed as nervous as an ingenue--in a good way--on the opening night of her new cabaret show Same Place-Another Time. Entering in a sparkly black blouse over a black skirt, and boogieing to the classic disco strains of "Do the Hustle," McKechnie and Musical Director/Pianist John McDaniel (leading a five-piece band) turned her opening number into a mashup with Rodgers and Hart's "Where or When" and a few bars of "Native New Yorker" thrown in just to keep up the funky disco flavor.
