Lincoln Center Theater's free-to-the-public Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between Lincoln Center Theater artists and interested theatergoers, continues its 14th season on Thursday, November 10, at 6:00pm with a pre-performance talk with J.T. Rogers and Bartlett Sher, the Playwright and Director of LCT's new production of Blood and Gifts currently in previews at the Mitzi E. Newhouse.

Two Time Tony Award winner NORBERT LEO BUTZ (Catch Me If You Can) and Emmy and Independent Spirit Award nominee ELIZABETH REASER (Twilight, Grey's Anatomy) will co-star in Second Stage Theatre's upcoming production of Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE. New York: Royal Family Productions presents a benefit reading of RAPP READS RAPP. Anthony Rapp reading Adam Rapp's play, Nocturne. The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Ma-Yi Theater Company - one of the country's leading Asian-American theater companies - will present the World Premiere of Carla Ching's new play THE SUGAR HOUSE AT THE EDGE OF THE WILDERNESS, directed by Daniella Topol featuring a cast that includes Cindy Cheung (Will Eno's MIDDLETOWN) and April Matthis (Young Jean Lee's LEAR).

Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents its 7th annual First Look Repertory of New Work - three developmental productions of new plays presented in repertory playing October 26 - November 20, 2011 in The Steppenwolf Garage, 1624 N. Rosenberg, Managing Director) has announced a one-week extension of its critically-acclaimed, sold out New York premiere production of MILK LIKE SUGAR, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge, directed by Rebecca Taichman.

The Joyce Theater Foundation will present the NYC premiere of Angel Reapers, a new dance/theater piece with text by Alfred Uhry and direction and choreography by Martha Clarke for a two-week limited run from November 29 - December 11.

Azuka Theatre opens its season with a hilarious and clever comedy from company and Philadelphia theatre community favorite Jordan Harrison. Act A Lady is set to debut the Off-Broad Street consortium's new space, at First Baptist Church, 17th and Sansom Streets.

Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway production of Jon Robin Baitz's OTHER DESERT CITIES, starring Stacy Keach, Stockard Channing and Judith Light. OTHER DESERT CITIES will begin preview performances Oct. 12 at the Booth Theatre and will open Thursday, November 3.
