Ford's Theatre Society will host its annual gala on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Ford's Theatre (511 10th Street NW). The evening's performance, titled 'America Celebrates July 4th at Ford's Theatre,' will be taped for broadcast on the ABC Television Network to air July 2, 2010 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will begin performances at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 and will play through Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Sheffield Theatres Productions presents True West, the show is directed by Paul Miller and designed by Hayden Griffin. The show will be held at Crucible Theatre at Tudor Square, Sheffield. It will run Thursday 13 May - Saturday 5 June 2010.

The program is taped at Ford's Theatre Society's annual gala taking place June 6 in Washington, DC. The celebrities joining Ty Burrell for the special include Kelly Clarkson, Dick Van Dyke, Renee Fleming, George Lopez, Lionel Richie and Robin Roberts. Additional performers include Laura Michelle Kelly and Gavin Lee from the Broadway company of 'Mary Poppins,' as well as The Soldiers' Chorus of the United States Army Field Band. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have been invited to attend.

The First National Tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical will end its stint at the Aronoff Center, on May 23, 2010 as a Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America 09/10 Season Presentation.

The West End production of LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL will receive its own cast recording, according to a post on the musical's Facebook page on May 21st. The show will be recorded live on June 12, 13, and 14 for a yet-to-be-announced release date.

As True West opens at Sheffield's newly refurbished Crucible Theatre, Artistic Director Daniel Evans announces his second season - completing his first year of work at the venue.

Richard Fleeshman will join the cast of the critically acclaimed Legally Blonde The Musical from 16 June to play Warner Huntington III opposite Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Jill Halfpenny as Paulette, Peter Davison as Professor Callahan and Alex Gaumond as Emmett. Fleeshman takes over the role of Warner Huntington III from Duncan James whose final performance will be 14 June 2010. Legally Blonde The Musical, which opened at the Savoy Theatre earlier this year, is currently booking until 20 February 2011.
