The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today released its year-end tally of 2012 Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program awards.

Megan Hilty's debut album, It Happens All The Time will be available March 12, 2013 from Portrait, Sony Masterworks' new adult contemporary imprint, in partnership with Columbia Records. The album is produced by Grammy-winners Andy Zulla and Jimmy Hogarth and showcases a different side of Hilty, the beloved star of the hit musical TV drama series Smash.

Hailing from Utah, The Piano Guys became an Internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos. They've made 35 since joining forces a little more than a year ago, including their most recent hit video, an innovative 10-handed version of One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful.' Newly signed to Sony Masterworks, ThePianoGuys recently released their self-titled major label debut.

Singer, songwriter, pop star CHRIS WALLACE breaks into the Top 25 on the Top 40 radio charts with the infectious and propulsive dance hit 'Remember When (Push Rewind).' CHRIS will make his national late night TV debut TONIGHT, Tuesday, January 22 on ABC-TV's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

International Pop Star Olly Murs will release his highly anticipated US debut album RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME on Columbia Records on April 16, 2013. The album will feature the top 40 summer hit 'Heart Skips A Beat' ft. Chiddy Bang and the BRIT Award nominated #1 pop anthem 'Troublemaker' ft. Flo Rida, which debuted top 30 at US pop radio this week. The music video for 'Troublemaker' has already garnered over 18 million views. Elektra recording artist Ed Sheeran has announced plans for his biggest U.S. headline tour to date. The 2013 trek gets underway tonight, January 17th at Houston's House of Blues and then continues through mid-February (see itinerary below). Among the tour's highlights are shows at some of America's most renowned venues, including Sheeran's debut performance on the Great Stage of New York's world famous Radio City Music Hall, set for January 30th.

According to MTV News, 'Les Miserables: Highlights from the Motion Picture' has now reached #1, hitting 92,000 in sales. The musical's album beat out Mumford & Sons' 'Babel,' Taylor Swift's 'Red,' Phillip Phillips' 'The World From the Side of the Moon,' and One Direction's 'Take Me Home.'

The X Factor's So-cal break out band Emblem3 have signed a recording deal with Syco Music and Columbia Records to release their debut album in 2013.
