For the first time, The CW's hit drama series THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Thursdays 8/7c) - from Warner Bros. Television - has topped Trendrr's list of the most social primetime TV series on broadcast television, ranking as network TV's #1 social program during the week of January 21-27.

On next week's episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, entitled 'A View to Kill,' when Rebekah (Claire Holt) turns down Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) plea to stop Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and protect Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Klaus turns to Stefan (Paul Wesley) for help. After an angry confrontation with her father, Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy), over his unconventional approach to ending the violence in Mystic Falls, Bonnie (Kat Graham) has a frightening run-in with Kol, followed by an unexpected visitor.

The DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl, which is free and open to the public, has become the must-attend event of Super Bowl weekend attracting thousands of spectators who flock to the event every year to witness Hollywood's biggest stars compete against former NFL greats in a wild flag football game where anything can happen.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) announced the winners of the 18th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards last night.

'O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL': A WINTER WONDERLAND IN MYSTIC FALLS - As a Winter Wonderland-themed party fills the streets of Mystic Falls, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves at odds with Tyler (Michael Trevino) over his plans for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his hybrids. When Caroline proposes a solution to their problem, Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) finds a dramatic way to make it clear that she is not on board. Later, Klaus makes a discovery that leads to chaos and violence. Meanwhile, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon retreat to the Gilbert Lake House to help Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) conquer some dangerous inner demons with the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay), who reveals a piece of ancient history that leaves them all speechless. Zach Roerig also stars.
