Just last night, the new revival of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical Les Miserables opened at the Imperial Theatre. The new design is gorgeously moody but uninspired acting and singing voices that do not seem up to their tasks plague the production.

The beautiful, exciting, and comprehensive recording was captured at the Wales Millennium Centre in 2009. For those curious about what they can expect from the new Broadway production, this recording serves as the perfect introduction to Chris Jahnke's new orchestrations.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record in Baltimore, MD for the week ending March 9 at the Hippodrome grossing $1,675,748.25.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record-breaking three-week run in the spring of 2013, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins April 1, 2014 at the Boston Opera House and plays a limited four week engagement through April 27, 2014. In Boston, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available for $25 apiece.

The producers of the national tour of the THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and The Orpheum Theatre announced today that single tickets will go on sale Friday, April 4th at 10:00 AM.
