The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present THE TOMMY DORSEY ORCHESTRA: TRIBUTE TO FRANK SINATRA on Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 PM.

Primary Stages in association with Susan Dietz (Fela!, Mothers and Sons), presents the world premiere of While I Yet Live by the Tony-winning star of Kinky Boots and Angels in America, Billy Porter, and directed by Tony Award nominee Sheryl Kaller (Mothers and Sons, Next Fall, Adrift in Macao). While I Yet Live plays a limited, six-week engagement, tonight, September 24, through October 31 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 West 42nd Street). Opening night is Sunday, October 12 at 5PM.

A new cause has been started by Dean Clark of San Francisco California that helps rescues across the United States with food and other items. The new group is named For the Love of Dog USA, based in northern California.

Primary Stages has announced that the world premiere of While I Yet Live will begin performances on Wednesday, September 24 at 7PM. Producers have decided to delay the start of previews due to technical issues.

The romantic and richly textured tale of East versus West, THE KING AND I, comes to The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL., previewing October 22, opening October 29, and running through January 4, 2015. Nick Bowling (Juno and The Normal Heart at Timeline Theatre) makes his Marriott Theatre directorial debut with a fresh take on this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, merging history and romance with today's social and political issues. THE KING AND I takes audiences on an uplifting journey of the power of education as characters transform from instructor to students themselves, learning from one another in the process. In consultation with the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute of Chicago, Bowling and Choreographer Tommy Rapley will explore ancient Siamese customs, dance and traditions, and bring them to life on stage.

The second round of Auditions on Telemundo's new mega-reality competition, “Yo Soy El Artista” (I Am the Artist), brings more drama, emotion and heartfelt stories, this Sunday, September 21 at 8pm/7c.

On September 22nd, you have one chance to see a New York Theatre Barn (The Barn) exclusive Pre-Premiere* of the new musicals, MARRYING ME and SEAWIFE at the Daryl Roth Theatre's D-Lounge at 7:30 pm. MARRYING ME's book is by Mark Beau de Silva, with lyrics by EllaRose Chary and music by Onn San.
