54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Libra Theater Company's "Songs You Should Know" on Tuesday, February 4th. "Songs You Should Know" is an annual concert of great music theater, showcasing new and rarely performed songs written by some of today's most talented emerging and established writers.

A total of 46 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus in East Haddam, CT this month to participate in the Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing nearly 30 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Contestants in LA's Next Great Stage Star competition had an exciting second week on Sunday, January 12th. The theme for this round was Breaking New Ground - A Little New Music, and featured songs from some of today's most up and coming musical theatre writers.

'Once Upon A Time In New York City'- a concert series featuring a slate of brand new songs about the Big Apple, made its 54 Below debut on Nov. 19. The concert featured performances from Micah Burgess, Nick Cearley, Amanda Flynn, Amanda Green, Lewis Grosso, Molly Hager, Jeremy Jordan, Dennis Michael Keefe, Rachel Lee, Lauren Marcus, Chris Miller, Bonnie Milligan, Alexander Sage Oyen, Chelsea Packard, Rob Rokicki, George Salazar, Analise Scarpaci, Jahn Sood, Sam Tedaldi, Katie Thompson, Nathan Tysen, and more.

Making its 54 Below debut, 'Once Upon A Time In New York City' is a concert series featuring a slate of brand new songs about the Big Apple, written by Broadway's best! Listen as they tell their tales of NYC both in song and in story; share in the ups and downs of city life, from the day they moved to Manhattan to the person who changed New York for them to their favorite spot on the island.

In a joint effort to produce and foster new work, The Living Room, in association with the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, will present a concert reading of Nathan Tysen and the popular Midwest band Joe's Pet Project's new rock theatre piece Stillwater. This exciting new fusion of rock concert and musical theatre will be performed with actors from Kansas City, New York and Chicago, at 7 pm and 10 pm, tonight, October 20, 2013 at The Living Room 1818 McGee Street in Kansas City, MO.

Producer Daryl Roth, in association with Harbor Entertainment, has announced plans for a limited 5-week engagement concert presentation of the new show Stars of David, based on the highly acclaimed book, Stars of David by Abigail Pogrebin, from November 13 - December 15, 2013 at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street, at Union Square). Featuring songs by some of the top composers and lyricist of the theater, Stars of David was conceived by Aaron Harnickand Abigail Pogrebin and is directed by Gordon Greenberg. Eight finalists have been chosen to compete in the Grand Finale of the 8th Annual NYMF Next Broadway Sensation competition this Friday, October 11th at 11pm at New World Stages. Over 200 talented hopefuls auditioned for a spot in this year's competition.
