Direct from her run Off-Broadway in the hit comedy White's Lies, the Broadway star, actress/singer Betty Buckley opens Song Interpretation Workshop to new participants in July 2010. The Song Interpretation Intensive class schedule consists of six sessions beginning on Monday July 12, Wednesday July 14, Monday July 19, Wednesday July 21, Monday August 2, 2010, Wednesday August 4. Riverside Park Fund announced today that long-time Board member and Upper West Side restaurateur Michael O'Neal will be honored at its annual benefit gala to raise funds for Riverside Park.

John Tartaglia and the Imaginocean cast appeared at Books Of Wonder on May 29. At the event Tartaglia read a 'fish story' and showed video clips from Imaginocean. There was also be games and a puppet performance.

The original cast of the hit Broadway musical MEMPHIS will perform the number 'Someday' live on Thursday, May 27th, in the 9am (EST) hour on NBC's 'The Today Show.' The appearance will feature Tony-nominated stars Montego Glover and Chad Kimball as well as Tony-nominated composer and Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

The Committee for Recognizing Women in Theater presented the first annual 'Lilly Awards' in honor of Lillian Hellman at Playwright's Horizons yesterday, May 24. This year, the Lilly Awards honored 17 women theater artists who have been produced in the past year in New York City. An after party was held and the West Bank Cafe.

Over 400 students representing 18 New York City public middle schools had the chance of a lifetime when they performed songs from Broadway musicals on the stage of the Majestic Theatre yesterday, May 17 as part of the 5th annual Broadway Junior Student Share program.
