Tony Award-winner Faith Prince returns to Broadway as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). She officially begins performances tonight, July 19, and while she was attending Mimi Hines' recent 54 Below show, she chatted exclusively with Richard Ridge about joining the cast. The stars came out on Wednesday, July 17 to see MIMI HINES as she celebrated her 80th birthday with a special, one-night-only concert at Broadway's nightclub, 54 Below. Among those in attendance were 'Late Show with David Letterman' bandleader PAUL SHAFFER, from TV's 'The Nanny' and 'Happily Divorced' start FRAN DRESCHER, and Broadway favorite LEE ROY REAMS (The Producers, 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast) and Tony Award winners DONNA McKECHNIE (A Chorus Line, Company) , FAITH PRINCE (Annie, Guys and Dolls) and LILIANE MONTEVECCHI (Nine). The 3 Tenors, Bill Brooks, Edd Clark, and Stephen Tharp are back, and expanding the boundaries of the American Songbook. For one night only, the tenors are celebrating the songs of American composers from Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil to Ned Rorem, from Christine Lavin to Samuel Barber and Ernest Gold, current composers, Paul Stephan and David Cisco, and throwing in just a little dash of Charles Ives.

BroadwayWorld.com noticed something today as we scoured Facebook and it's something that we really liked, so we wanted to share it with you because it's not so often that you find such generosity for actors. This weekend, all roads lead to St. Louis as actors are headed there from all over the country to audition for the Muny's summer production of LES MISERABLES directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Kevin Stites.

Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2013 Season, which opens on June 17 with Monty Python's Spamalot. 'This is a phenomenally talented group of artists, and I'm thrilled to be working with all of them. Last season our audience inspired us to take many risks and push ourselves far. These directors and choreographers are already working on ways to top last season's level of excitement and excellence.'

Last night was the first concert in a series that producer Mark Cortale, along with SiriusXM radio star Seth Rudetsky, is brining to the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA). The first guest of the series was Patti LuPone, known for her roles in EVITA, LES MISERABLES, ANYTHING GOES, SWEENY TODD, and GYPSY among others. The format for the performance was very laid back. Discussion between Rudetsky and LuPone was intermingled with singing some of their favorite show tunes.

Joining Jan Daley will be musical director David Cohen on the piano. The show will feature many standards from the Great American Songbook that Ms. Daley performed throughout her career, especially those highlighted by her USO tours with Bob Hope entertaining more than 40,000 GI's.
