BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that legendary Broadway company and general manager Gary Gunas passed away today in his London home after a four-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

The John Gore Organization (JGO) has announced the promotion of Susan Krajsa to President of Broadway Across America (BAA). A veteran of the Broadway industry, Krajsa has been with the company for twenty seven years in various positions, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Presenting.

The world's two leading theatre companies, Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) (Mark Cornell, Group CEO; Stephen Lewin, CEO, North America; Kristin Caskey, Executive Vice President of Content & Creative, North America), and the John Gore Organization (John Gore, Chairman & CEO; Miles Wilkin, Vice Chairman; Lauren Reid, Chief Operating Officer), are delighted to announce that they have agreed to extend Broadway Across America (BAA)'s agreement to present first class touring Broadway shows at ATG's Majestic Theater in San Antonio and Saenger Theater in New Orleans.

The 2016 Tony Awards celebrated 70 years of honoring the best of Broadway last night at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. In addition to the class of 2016 Tony Nominees, the star-studded evening featured appearances by Cate Blanchett, Claire Danes, Common, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Glenn Close, Josh Groban, Jake Gyllenhaal, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, James Earl Jones, Daniel Dae Kim, Carole King, Diane Lane, Nathan Lane, Angela Lansbury, Lucy Liu, Bebe Neuwirth, Saoirse Ronan, Keri Russell, Meg Ryan, Barbra Streisand, Oprah Winfrey and many more. As predicted, HAMILTON was the big winner of the night, taking home a whopping eleven awards, including the coveted Best Musical.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and Miles Wilkin will both be honored with the 2016 Special Tony Awards.

The honorees of the Broadway League Awards, honoring excellence and achievement for Touring Broadway, were hosted today by George Hamilton during the Broadway League's 2011 Spring Road Conference. First presented in 1992, the Broadway League Awards recognize the contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway Across America (BAA) today announced an eight-show, 14-week Broadway season for 2010-11. This is the first full season under the new partnership agreement between the two organizations, and is the first time a Columbus Broadway season has offered two multi-week engagements-Mary Poppins and Jersey Boys.

Broadway Across America (BAA) has renewed its agreement with the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) to present Broadway productions in Columbus. Under the new 10-year agreement, CAPA will locally manage the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America Series, taking on the responsibilities of marketing, event management, ticketing, sponsorship, and public relations.

John Gore, Owner and CEO of Key Brand Entertainment Inc. announced today that Miles C. Wilkin has been named CEO of Broadway Across America and will assume the position immediately. Broadway Across America is owned and operated by Key Brand Entertainment. Mr. Wilkin, a pioneer of the theatrical touring industry in the United States, will be at the helm of Broadway Across America, the premiere producer and presenter of live theatrical events in the United States and Canada.
