The Tillers To Release New Self Titled Studio LP 3/23

The Tillers have been thumping their own distinctive sound of string band style folk music for a decade, riding it all over the country and across the sea. Four studio albums and one live record have won them praise as modern folk storytellers of the national soundscape. 

Kevin Schmidt, Rick McCarty and Mike Montgomery have been writing, recording and touring as AMPLINE since 2001. Since then, they've stitched their way across the United States many times and have done multiple tours in Europe and the UK. Passion Relapse is the group's fifth full-length album.

But the initial reaction of movie-goers to the film, although not nearly so dire as some cinema historians would have you believe, is considered one of the best-reviewed movies of all time.

R. Ring's 7' split-single with Kentucky-based garage rockers Quailbones will feature the two respective songs 'Singing Tower' & 'A Tip to Trick the Tide' and will be released this July in 7' vinyl & digital formats via Sofaburn Records. While this won't be available for a few months yet, R. Ring will be producing an extremely limited (100) handmade, custom-packaged version of it as a 12' vinyl LP with screen-printed artwork just for thier upcoming tour (dates below).

Cody Christian, who stars on ABC Family's “Pretty Little Liars” as Aria's younger brother Mike Montgomery, and Ashton Moio, who stars as Jo's loyal friend Rico on “Twisted,” will participate in live chats via Twitter during the East Coast broadcasts of their series tonight, July 23rd starting at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.

Directed by Nate Eppler, Christmas Belles is staged in the round at Chaffin's Barn (as are all their shows), which works well for the play's hilariously overblown situations. Audiences have a birds-eye view of everything that's happening and that lends an even greater ring of authenticity to the hijinks unfolding onstage. By using every square foot of the Barn's playing area, Eppler involves the audience more intimately in the yuletide frivolities at the Tabernacle of the Lamb Church.
