Billy Joe Armstrong's Time in Rehab Undetermined, GREEN DAY May Cancel More Shows

As Rolling Stone recently reported, Green Day's frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, may be extending his stint in rehab for longer than previously expected. Following his outburst at the iHeartRadio music festival in Vegas last month, Armstrong was admitted into rehab for substance abuse.

GREEN DAY Announce That BEST COAST Will Join The Band As Support For January & February Arena Dates

Reprise Records' Green Day have announced that they will be joined by Best Coast as support for their upcoming arena dates next January and February as part of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR. Best Coast will join Green Day beginning on January 8th in Rosemont, IL at the Allstate Arena and open all dates following, wrapping up on February 8th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. All dates are on-sale now and can be found below.

GREEN DAY ¡UNO! OUT TODAY

Green Day ¡Uno!, the first album in Green Day's album trilogy Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré!, hits stores today via Reprise Records. Green Day ¡Uno! will be followed by Green Day ¡Dos! on November 13, 2012, and Green Day ¡Tré! on January 15, 2013. The albums are the follow-up to the Grammy Award-winning 21st Century Breakdown, and were produced by the band's long-time producer Rob Cavallo.

GREEN DAY Kicks Off 2012/13 Tour; Full Schedule!

Earlier this week Green Day announced the first leg of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR. The full-scale North American tour will kick off in intimate venues this November and December, starting on November 26th in Seattle, WA at the Paramount Theatre and wrapping up on December 10th in Tempe, AZ at the Marquee Theater. In January, the band will bring the ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR to arenas around the country, starting on January 7th at the Resch Arena in Green Bay, WI and wrapping up on February 8th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

AMERICAN IDIOT Cast Set for Rock Band Challange, 9/23

As reported previously, the video game 'Green Day: Rock Band,' was released in June. Now, the cast of AMERCAN IDIOT will be participating in a Green Day: Rock Band competition at the Village Pourhouse (366 West 46th Street), on Thursday, September 23. At the event, which is to be held at 10 pm, patrons will be able to challange the cast at the many Green Day tunes included in the game.

Shows Developed At Berkeley Rep Receive Outer Critics Circle Awards

Today, with the announcement of its annual awards, the Outer Critics Circle recognized two shows developed at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Carrie Fisher won the award for Outstanding Solo Performance with Wishful Drinking, and Kevin Adams of American Idiot was honored for Outstanding Lighting Design. The Outer Critics Circle - the official organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications, and other media beyond Broadway - has given awards since 1950.
