Sony Music Masterworks and Broadway Records release the original soundtrack of the NBC Television event 'The Wiz LIVE!' via all digital service providers (download and streaming) today, December 11, followed by the CD on December 18.

GIMMELIVE, a Massachusetts-based concert promoter, is producing its inaugural show in South Florida: GOOD VIBRATIONS, the first celebration of 2016 with some of America's favorite classic rockers, including Micky Dolenz of The Monkees; Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals; Mark Farner, founder of Grand Funk Railroad; Steve Augeri, the former lead singer of Journey; and John Cafferty and Michael 'Tunes' Antunes of the Beaver Brown Band, which was featured in the hit film Eddie & The Cruisers.

This winter, fans will be able to catch two musical icons in a never-before-seen setting. 'Peter Noone In Conversation with Micky Dolenz' will feature both legendary artists hitting NYC-area theatres to share stories from their decades-spanning careers as members of extraordinary musical groups who sold millions of records and continue to entertain.

BREAKING THROUGH, a world premiere musical, features a book by Kirsten Guenther, and music and lyrics by Cliff Downs and Katie Kahanovitz. The production is choreographed by Tyce Diorio and directed by Sheldon Epps. Preview performances began October 27, 2015 with the official press opening on November 1, 2015 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue in Pasadena). Micky Dolenz is best known as the lead singer of the hugely successful rock 'n' roll band, The Monkees, which originated from the classic sixties TV show of the same name. The Monkees sold over 65 million records and has toured the U.S. (and much of the world) many times over. Micky has also starred in musicals on Broadway, the West End, and in national tours including Disney's AIDA (Broadway), Pippin, Hairspray (West End), Grease, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Tom Sawyer, and more.
