HAMLET IN BED, written by Michael Laurence and directed by Lisa Peterson, begins previews tonight, August 28, and opens September 17, 2015 (a week later than the previously announced date of September 10). HAMLET IN BED plays at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. Joining Mr. Laurence in the cast is Annette O'Toole. The production runs through Sunday, October 25.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that HAMLET IN BED, written by Michael Laurence and directed by Lisa Peterson, will now open Thursday, September 17, a week later than the previously announced date of September 10. The change was made to accommodate for the holiday weekend.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announces the 2014 F*ck!ng Good Plays (festival, V): six (6) days of new play readings by six of today's hottest playwrights. The festival, to be presented at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South between West 11th and Perry Streets, will begin on Tuesday, October 7th and continue through Sunday, October 12. Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts has announced casting for its ESPA Drills Reading Series this August. ESPA Drills is an annual new play development program providing staged readings to four playwrights. The plays are workshopped under the guidance of the ESPA staff and will be presented before an audience of industry peers Off-Broadway at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the New York premiere of APPROPRIATE, by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and directed by Liesl Tommy.
