First came Hair, then, Jesus Christ Superstar -- which led to Rent and Spring Awakening. Now comes THE 12, written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, with music, lyrics and story concept by award winning composer, Neil Berg. On January 10, Adam Friedson and Left Feild Productions will present a a showcase of this new musical as a preview to it's premiere production at the Broward Center this upcoming spring. The showcase, part of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters conference, is directed by Richard Seyd and Produced by Adam Friedson and Left Field Productions.

The Rock Tenor makes its debut this summer beginning July 8, starring vocalist Rob Evan (Broadway performer and lead singer for the multi-platinum band The Trans-Siberian Orchestra), who conceived the show with director Vincent Marini (former Producing Artistic Director of New Jersey's Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center) officially opens July 15 and closes August 23. The Rock Tenor fuses rock and roll anthems, Broadway classics, opera favorites, country rhythms and classical melodies in a unique performance that showcases these familiar works in a whole new light. On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
