San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors) has announced the full cast and creative team for the opening production of its 2018-2019 season, THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS (nominated for seven Tony Awards). 

Welcoming the audience to get involved in the action, the Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) open the company's 38th season with the multiple Tony Award-winning musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood with book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes. Performances are October 26-November 18, 2018 at SSP's home in the lower level of St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. Diversey, Chicago. Starting this season, SSP Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinees remain at 2 p.m.

Copland House's 2018-19 mainstage season will offer celebrations aplenty! Ranging widely across more than a century of American music, the popular series is Copland House's 10th at Westchester County's majestic Merestead estate in Mount Kisco, NY. Hailed by The New York Times for "all the richness of its offerings, first-rate fare, and reputation for quality," the series has become a destination for an enthusiastic and growing audience of musical adventurers seeking discoveries of the new, old, and unexpected.

Each summer, the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) presents its annual Sacred Masterwork concert and this year is no exception. Rich in spiritual trills and sacred thrills, Music of the Spirit, the 2018 free concert features GWYNETH WALKER's Songs of Faith - which was commissioned by OGCMA and hasn't been performed here since its 2013 debut - and JOHN RUTTER's splendid Gloria. Jason C. Tramm will conduct The Great Auditorium Choir and guest soloists Monica Ziglar, Katherine Pracht, Ronald Naldi and Justin Beck, accompanied by the MidAtlantic Brass Ensemble and organist Gordon Turk. The Great Auditorium is located at 54 Pilgrim Pathway in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, and is handicapped-accessible.

Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors), currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary in continuous operation, has announced the full cast and creative team for the final production of the 2017-2018 season: ME AND MY GIRL, a hilarious and delightful 1930s West End smash hit (winner of three Tony Awards for the critically-acclaimed 1986 Broadway revival). ME AND MY GIRL features book and lyrics by L. Arthur Rose & Douglas Furber, revised by Stephen Fry with contributions by Mike Ockrent, and music by Noel Gay. ME AND MY GIRL runs from May 2 - 20, 2018 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). A cast of young, diverse and brilliant singers that includes Mikaela Bennett who just wowed the world in Michael Gordon's opera Acquanetta at the Protoype Festival performs songs by a panorama of composers, from Marc Blitzstein and Joni Mitchell to Randy Newman and Mohammed Fairouz. The Tucson Desert Song Festival's (TDSF) sixth season opens tomorrow (Jan. 16) and will run through February, 4th. The festival will celebrate the life and music of Leonard Bernstein, the iconic conductor, composer, pianist and educator Over the coming weeks TDSF, in partnership with Tucson's leading arts organizations, will present events honoring Bernstein at 100. The festival will provide a rich and unusual context in which to experience Bernstein's work. Highlights include a fully-staged production of Bernstein's comic operetta Candide (in partnership with Arizona Opera); Trouble in Tahiti (in partnership with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra) featuring mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and bass-baritone Kelly Markgraf; Mass, in a chamber version (in partnership with True Concord Voices & Orchestra) featuring Jubilant Sykes; the Kaddish symphony, narrated by Jamie Bernstein, and an evening with Broadway star Chita Rivera.

The 2017 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition culminated Wednesday evening, October 18, at CAG's Winners Showcase Concert, featuring performances by the winners of the annual international competition.
