Theater 29 will return to live shows with an immersive event featuring new plays, collaborative art installations, and performance art on the theme of Emergence.  Created by Josh Berkowitz, Lisa Wagner Erickson, Ellen K. Graham, Elizabeth Faraci, and Joe Marci, directed by Hart DeRose, Emergence debuts June 26 at Theater 29.

Following its critically acclaimed Mostly Mozart Festival debut in July, the Young People's Chorus of New York City (YPC) performs with Meredith Monk in Dancing Voices at Lincoln Center's White Light Festival. This multidimensional, multiperceptual program of the composer's music is presented in three concerts on Friday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College.

Golf Digest named Meredith Kirk to its 2017 list of 'Best Young Teachers' in America. Kirk is the lead instructor at the Dustin Johnson Golf School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the Myrtle Beach Golf Ambassador with Founders Group International (FGI), owner of 22 Grand Strand Golf Courses and package provider Myrtle Beach Golf Trips.

At 7 p.m. on Monday evening, March 2, with every seat in Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater occupied, almost 400 chorus members from 7 to 18 from the Young People's Chorus of New York City streamed on stage and filled the balcony boxes above. Joining them was the evening's host, Broadway star Norm Lewis, and in the pit YPC Artistic Director Francisco J. Nuñez gave the downbeat to The New York Pops to get YPC's gala evening off to an exciting start by singing...and dancing...'Magic To Do' from Pippin. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

Family Ties star Meredith Baxter has joined the cast of the CBS daytime sudser, The Young and the Restless.

Spark Theater delves into its first musical with fantasy 'Goblin Market' February 21 through March 15 at 985 Santa Fe Drive in Denver, CO 80204. Performances are Friday and Saturdays AT 7:30 p.m. There will be no show on Friday, March 7. There will be an open house during First Friday instead. While the modern college-roomies milieu is an interesting concept, this particular production lacks the execution.
