Sonia Friedman Productions is delighted to announce further casting for the long-awaited UK premiere of Dreamgirls which will have preview performances at the Savoy Theatre from 19 November and Opening Night on Wednesday 14 December 2016.

Samantha Womack, Les Dennis and Carrie Hope Fletcher will star as Morticia, Fester and Wednesday Addams in the UK & Irish premiere of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a musical comedy, with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams.  Further casting is to be announced. 

The New York Post has reported that producer Kevin McCollum has the rights to transfer off-Broadway's hottest ticket, Leigh Silverman's prodcution of 'Sweet Charity' led by Tony winner, Sutton Foster, to Broadway.

David Tennant, who plays the title role in Patrick Marber's Don Juan in Soho, will be joined by Adrian Scarborough as Stan and Gawn Grainger as Louis.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program presentation of William Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, running November 12 - November 20 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, directed by Richard Seer, Director of Professional Training for the M.F.A. program, as part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Robert Hastie today announces his inaugural season. The new season opens with Hastie directing William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar bringing Shakespeare back to the Crucible; this will be followed in the Studio by the winner of the new annual RTST Director Award Scheme Kate Hewitt directing the regional premiere of Nina Raine's Tribes.  

59E59 Theaters will host the world premiere of LIFE IS FOR LIVING: CONVERSATIONS WITH COWARD, co-created by Simon Green and David Shrubsole. Starring Mr. Green with musical direction by Mr. Shrubsole, LIFE IS FOR LIVING: CONVERSATIONS WITH COWARD was researched by Jason Morell. Kyle Riabko - star and creator of the hit West End show Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined and the earlier acclaimed Off-Broadway version What's it All About? Bacharach Reimagined - will return to Joe's Pub at The Public for two solo concerts by popular demand on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 9:30 PM.
