Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the cast for the next Roundabout Underground production Too Much, Too Much, Too Many, a new play by Meghan Kennedy, directed by Sheryl Kaller, featuring Rebecca Henderson (Emma), Luke Kirby (Pastor Hidge), James Rebhorn (James), & Phyllis Somerville (Rose).

Just last night, the casts and creative teams of Roundabout Theatre Company's fall shows (The Winslow Boy, Bad Jews, and Too Much, Too Much) gathered to kick off the upcoming seaon. BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities and you can check out complete photo coverage below!

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the next Roundabout Underground production Too Much, Too Much, Too Many a new play by Meghan Kennedy, directed by Sheryl Kaller. The cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

The first weeklong residency was held at The Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund in Tarrytown, New York from June 21-29. It featured playwrights Stephen Brown and Max Posner, along with director Portia Krieger and a company of actors. The Pocantico Center residency, established in 2008 by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, supports artists in their creative process. This was Page 73's fifth summer sending playwrights to the residency.

Page 73 Productions will present a reading of TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH, TOO MANY by Meghan Kennedy directed by Hal Brooks. The reading will be Monday, October 1st at 7:30pm at 311 West 43rd Street, 8th floor (Manhattan Theatre Club's Creative Center). Off-Broadway's Page 73 Productions - a company dedicated to producing and developing works by early-career playwrights - will double the financial award associated with their annual P73 Playwriting Fellowship to $10,000 beginning in 2013, it has been announced by Page 73 Executive Directors Liz Jones and Asher Richelli. "We're thrilled to provide more financial assistance to playwrights who are just starting out and who are trying to make a name for themselves in New York City and all over the country," said Executive Director Liz Jones.

Presentations of Page 73 Productions' developmental workshop of A THICK DESCRIPTION OF HARRY SMITH (Volume I) by Chicago-based playwright Carlos Murillo (DARK PLAY OR STORIES FOR BOYS) and directed by Kip Fagan (Page 73's JACK'S PRECIOUS MOMENT) will begin Thursday, June 28 at 2pm and continue Friday, June 29 at 2pm; Sunday, July 1 at 7pm and Monday, July 2 at 3pm (please note the altered performance time for the July 2nd performance) at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street). PlayPenn, Philadelphia's professional new play development organization, will hold its seventh annual New Play Development Conference from July 8 - July 24 at both the Adrienne Theater and the Playground (2030 Sansom Street) in Philadelphia. The Conference will feature two weeks of intensive work on six works-in-progress by Lisa Dillman (American Wee-Pie); Jacqueline Goldfinger (Slip/Shot); Brian Quirk (Nerine); Lauren Yee (A Man, His Wife and His Hat); John Yearley (Another Girl); and Stefanie Zadravec (The Electric Baby).

A Noise Within (ANW) concludes its 2009-10 season with celebrated Irish playwright JOHN MILLINGTON SYNGE's THE PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD directed by Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director Geoff Elliott, which opens Saturday, April 17 and closes Saturday, May 22, 2010 (previews begin Saturday, April 10). The once controversial play - which sparked riots during and after its debut in Dublin in 1907, was booed in New York four years later, and resulted in the arrest of the Philadelphia cast on charges of staging an immoral performance - has since been recognized as a masterpiece.
