Casting has been announced for A VIEW FROM ISLINGTON NORTH, an evening of imaginative, provocative and hilarious political satire from some of the UK's most celebrated playwrights, directed by Max Stafford-Clark, playing at the Arts Theatre in London from 18 May until 2 July, with a press night on 24 May.

Maggie Smith was presented with the Critics' Circle Award 2015 for Services to the Arts at a private lunch held at the National Liberal Club in London on March 31, receiving an engraved crystal rose bowl. The event hosted byJeffery Taylor, president of the Critics' Circle and Mark Shenton, chairman of the Drama section of the Critics' Circle.

Richard Bean's TOAST to Make US Debut at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances on Wednesday, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22.  Press opening is Wednesday, April 27 at 7 PM. 

West End's WELCOME HOME, CAPTAIN FOX! Will Launch at Donmar Warehouse, Feb. 18

Welcome Home, Captain Fox!, Anthony Weigh's new version of Jean Anouilh's hit 1937 comedy Le Voyageur Sans Bagage, will begin previews at The Donmar Warehouse from Thursday 18 February . The production is directed by Blanche McIntyre, and a cast that includes Michelle Asante, Barnaby Kay, Rory Keenan, Katherine Kingsley, Trevor Laird, Sian Thomas, Danny Webb, Fenella Woolgar and Daniel York.

Snapdragon Productions today announces the full cast for the UK tour of their acclaimed revival of Toast by Richard Bean.  Accompanying Matthew Kelly and Simon Greenall are Will Barton, Steve Nicolson, Matt Sutton and John Wark, all reprising their roles from the 2014 Park Theatre run. Kicking off January is The Mozart Salons: Concert One (8 January), an international project exploring the most prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. Join Pater Sheppard Skaeverd on a journey of intricate sonatas through to his muchly celebrated concertante works for violin, viola and piano. Nashville-based polymath Michael Alec Rose will present the exclusive world premiere of a series of violin pieces inspired by intimate walks across Dartmoor, whilst exploring its rich history along the way. Pianist Daniel-Ben Pienaar will join Peter as well as composer David Lancaster in Concert Two (14 February).

New Adaptation of Samuel Beckett's ALL THAT FALL Set for Bristol Old Vic

'It is a text written to come out of the dark' said Samuel Beckett of his mysterious, tragicomic first radio play 'All That Fall'. In this production, by internationally acclaimed director Max Stafford-Clark, audiences will be blindfolded as the cast move about them in the auditorium, their voices joined by a surround-sound design by Dyfan Jones. It plays at Bristol Old Vic from 8 to 12 March and Wilton's Music Hall from 22 March to 9 April 2016.
