NBC has given its first full season order to freshman cop drama MYSTERIES OF LAURA, starring Debra Messing.

Lynne Meadow and Barry Grove have announced Manhattan Theatre Club will present its Fall Benefit, honoring longtime MTC collaborator, Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

Deadline writes that Tony nominee Thomas Sadoski has joined the cast of NBC's new miniseries THE SLAP from playwright Jon Robin Baitz.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thandie Newton and Melissa George are the latest stars to board NBC's upcoming miniseries THE SLAP. The pair join Peter Sarsgaard, Mary-Louise Parker, Zachary Quinto, and Brian.

Mary-Louise Parker, who plays Nancy Botwin on the hit Showtime series Weeds, will author what Scribner calls “an autobiographical literary work of nonfiction” titled 'Dear Mr. You' to be released in the fall of 2015.
