Centaur invites you to attend a lecture and slideshow presented by Ron Galella - the most famous and most controversial celebrity photographer in the world. This special event is presented in conjunction with 'VIVA L'ITALIA' an exhibit of Ron Galella's photographs of Italian and Italian American movie icons from the past 50 years, from October 6 to December 6 in the Centaur Gallery.

Phantom Audio will transform their large Chelsea loft into an art gallery - Phantom Gallery - for four days in September, and will present an exhibit of artist Don Florence's celebrity portraits entitled ACTORS, AUTHORS, OTHERS. Phantom Gallery is located at 48 West 25th Street, which is between 5th and 6th Avenues on the 10th Floor, and the exhibit ACTORS, AUTHORS, OTHERS will be held from September 24th through September 27th and will benefit the Playwrights Realm Theater Company.

This years series showcases fifteen classic films from the Golden Age of Hollywood to the special-effects laced blockbusters of the 1980's; all for a very 'retro' price of just $5 per film.

Vickilyn Reynolds, playwright, composer, lyricist and star of the acclaimed musical 'Hattie...What I Need You To Know!' based on the life of Academy-Award winning actress Hattie McDaniel of 'Gone With the Wind' fame, presents 'Hattie & Me' one night only on Saturday, August 22 at the Triad Theater in New York.
