Culinary All-Stars Join CHOPPED for Charity

A Chopped event like no other, Chopped All-Stars features unbeatable drama, a $50,000 charitable cash prize and 16 celebrated chefs familiar to Food Network fans. In this fierce five-part competition hosted by Ted Allen, premiering Sunday, March 6th at 9pm ET/PT, four chefs go head-to-head in each round with an unthinkable array of mystery basket ingredients. The champion from each round advances to the finale for a chance at taking home the prize and coveted title. From teething biscuits and rabbit kidneys to dried hibiscus flowers and cobia, these chefs must crank up the heat and get creative to avoid the chopping block. Competitors include Food Network stars like Anne Burrell and Duff Goldman, former contestants from The Next Food Network Star, recurring Chopped judges, and renowned chefs like Anita Lo and Jacques Torres. In his second consecutive week with the New York Philharmonic this season, Sir Colin Davis will lead the Orchestra in two works by Elgar - the Introduction and Allegro, and the Violin Concerto, with Nikolaj Znaider as soloist - and Mozart's Symphony No. 36, Linz, Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, December 10, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 11, at 8:00 p.m.

Temperatures rise this July as teams of hopeful restaurateurs attempt to open their dream restaurants in Food Network's new primetime competition series, 24 Hour Restaurant Battle, premiering Wednesday, July 21st at 10pm ET/PT. Hosted by renowned chef, Scott Conant, owner of Scarpetta and Faustina at the Cooper Square Hotel, each one-hour episode features dueling teams who must conceive, plan, and open their own restaurants in 24 hours. On each team, one person handles front-of-house issues like decor, seating, and service while the other manages back-of-house matters like menu planning, shopping, and cooking. When the doors open, each restaurant serves a group of diners along with Scott and a rotating panel of judges. This colorful new series assembles fourteen of the art world's most talented, up-and-coming artists to compete for a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum and a cash prize of $100,000. In the premiere episode, the artists are randomly put into pairs for their first elimination challenge. They learn that after only one night together, their mission is to create a piece of art that captures the essence of a fellow competitor. Host and judge China Chow, alongside series judges Bill Powers, a New York Gallery owner, Jerry Saltz, senior art critic for New York Magazine, and Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, gallerist Salon94 gallery in New York City must determine who makes the cut and who is not 'The Next Great Artist.'
