NESE Begins Rehearsals For OTHELLO, Opens 5/21

The NorthEast Shakespeare Ensemble (NESE) has begun rehearsals for its production of Shakespeare's monumental tragedy, Othello, with the strongest cast in its seven-year history. Directed by NESE Artistic Director John Goodlin, Othello will run for eight performances from May 21 through May 30 at Colby-Sawyer College's Sawyer Center Theater in New London.

Latin music's biggest stars glittered this evening at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, where the glamour of this year's finalists, the excitement of each performance, and the emotion preceding each award thrilled television viewers worldwide. Top honors at the world's most prestigious Latin music event went to Aventura who received nine Billboard Latin Music Awards, while Tito "El Bambino" was honored with seven awards. Luis Fonsi received four awards, and Wisin y Yandel were granted three awards. The 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm aired live in HD on Telemundo, marking the network's 12th broadcast of the event.

Last Night, March 7, stars from all over the world came out for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California. 'The Hurt Locker' won Best Picture and the film's director Kathryn Bigelow took home the award for Best Director. Jeff Bridges took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his work in 'Crazy Heart', Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for 'The Blind Side', Christoph Waltz took home Best Supporting Actor for 'Inglourious Basterds' and Mo'Niqe garnered the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Precious'.
