The 50th Anniversary season of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey concludes with the rarely performed comedic gem Trelawny of the Wells by renowned Victorian playwright Sir Arthur Wing Pinero. Performances begin December 5th and continue through December 30th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that Ryan Silverman has been cast as Giorgio, joining acclaimed/awarding winning actresses Judy Kuhn (as Fosca) and Melissa Errico (as Clara), in the company's upcoming new production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Passion, to be directed by John Doyle (director of the acclaimed Broadway revivals of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd and Company).

Narrated by Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), the film features interviews with former and current Joffrey dancers, the breakthroughs of choreograpers Twyla Tharp, Laura Dean and Margo Sappington, and rare archival performance footage, including excerpts from signature works Astarte, Trinity, and Billboards (the latter with music by Prince).

Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. The cast includes Fred Arsenault, Hannah Cabell, David Greenspan, Marin Ireland, Vin Knight, Jo Lampert, Polly Lee, Steven Rattazzi, Jake Silbermann, Teale Sperling, Brian Wiles, and Ashton Woerz.

DRG Records announces the release of the cast recording of FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING, The UN-Original Cast Album, produced by Hugh Fordin, and available in stores and online on November 27, 2012. Featured on the album are cast members Natalie Charlé Ellis, Scott Richard Foster, Jenny Lee Stern and Marcus Stevens, with David Caldwell on piano.

Due to overwhelming popular demand, the producers of Gerard Alessandrini's brand- new FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING have announced the show will be extending its run at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street - just west of Eighth Avenue) through April 28th, 2013. The production is co-directed by Phillip George. FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING opened on September 6th after a three-year absence from New York.

Classic Stage Company's new production of Anton Chekhov's IVANOV, starring Ethan Hawke, Joely Richardson and Juliet Rylance, and directed by Austin Pendleton, begins previews Wednesday, October 17 at CSC (136 East 13th Street), prior to an official opening Sunday, November 4. IVANOV has extended its run by popular demand through Sunday, December 9. Hawke, in the title role, Richardson, who will play Anna, and Rylance, who will play Sasha, will be joined in IVANOV by Glenn Fitzgerald (Borkin), Annette Hunt (Avdotya Nazarovna), Stephanie Janssen (Babakina), Roberta Maxwell (Zinaida), George Morfogen (Shabelsky), James Patrick Nelson (Kosykh), Anthony Newfield (Guest), Jonathan Marc Sherman (Lvov), Anne Troupe (Gavrila) and Louis Zorich (Lebedev).
