Actor Mandy Patinkin of the Emmy Award-winning SHOWTIME series 'Homeland' will appear live today, Dec. 15 on CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network.

This morning CBS Corporation earned 14 Golden Globe Award nominations across three divisions - SHOWTIME, the CBS Television Network and CBS Films.

SHOWTIME was honored with seven Golden Globe nominations this morning, tied for the most series nominations this year (with HBO). HOMELAND is the most nominated television series this year with four nominations.

Homeland star Mandy Patinkin stopped by the THE COLBERT REPORT on Comedy Central last night to discuss his hit Showtime series. Colbert grilled the actor on the issue of terrorism, and even asked the Broadway vet if his character ever feels like bursting out into lyrics from the classic musical Gypsy; 'Don't tell me not to live, just sit and putter.' Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that acclaimed film and television actor Christopher Lloyd, will star as Azdak in the company's upcoming spring production of Bertolt Brecht's THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE, to be directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik, featuring translation by James and Tania Stern with lyrics by W.H. Auden. THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE will begin performances Thursday, May 2 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 2.

The 50th Anniversary season of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey concludes with the rarely performed comedic gem Trelawny of the Wells by renowned Victorian playwright Sir Arthur Wing Pinero. Performances began December 5th and continue through December 30th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison.
