Emily Trask, Carol Linnea Johnson & More to Lead Titan's All-Female OTHELLO
by Tyler Peterson - Feb 2, 2015

Queens-based Titan Theatre Company will conclude its critically acclaimed 2014/15 season with a signature take on Shakespeare's classic tragedy Othello featuring an ALL FEMALE CAST. The production will play a limited run April 17 - May 2, 2015 at Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue. Titan Theatre Company Artistic Director Lenny Banovez, who previously helmed Titan's hit productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Henry V, will direct. Shakespeare's most tragic hero squares off against arguably his greatest villain, in the classic tale of jealousy, betrayal, and vengeance. Watch as Iago leads 'The Moor' to the edge of sanity, by weaving a trail of deceit about the loyalty of a friend, and a wife's fidelity.

REVIEW: Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Present Powerful Production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
by Chris Gibson - Feb 16, 2010

Playwright Wendy Kesselman has referred to her current adaptation of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK as the definitive version, and considering the fact that newly available passages of Anne's diary were incorporated into the text, it's certainly more eye opening in a lot of respects. Kesselman gives us a more thorough understanding of Anne, while also enhancing some of the darker aspects of her story, packing this episode in history with considerable emotional weight. The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is presenting a superb staging of this fresh adaptation (February 10 - March 7), featuring a stellar ensemble that breathes new life into this tragic tale.
