In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 46 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus later this month to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 25 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Direct from a smash hit, sold out show at Joe's Pub, Lisa Rothauser (The Producers) will present her one-woman show, Life. WTF? in the Rosebud Room at NYC's newest live performance venue, 42West (514 W 42nd Street), on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 7 pm.

On Friday, November 14, 2014 STAGES St. Louis hosted the thirteenth annual APPLAUSE! Gala at the Ritz-Carlton, a benefit to support the organization's Education and Artistic Programs. APPLAUSE! 2014 raised a record amount of over $375,000. This year's numbers come on the heels of another record-breaking season, which generated nearly $3 million in ticket sales, over a $1 million increase over the previous year and out-grossing any season in STAGES' 28-year history. The event was hosted by STAGES stars Kari Ely and Steve Isom. Lynne Turley served as event Chair.

Newly divorced and recovering co-dependent, Lisa Rothauser, makes her Joe's Pub debut (September 8 at 7:30PM) with eleven, 11 o'clock numbers (go big or go home). Today, July 3, the New York Musical Theatre Festival hosted a press preview day in which several shows treated the audience to special performances. On hand to represent 'Stealing Time' was Jesus Christ Superstar alum Jeremy Kushnier, who performed the show's title number. Click below to see him in action!

As previously announced, Jeremy Kushnier (Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose), Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn), Rachel York (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Victor/Victoria) and Jack Noseworthy (A Chorus Line, Sweet Smell of Success) lead the cast of New York Musical Theater Festival's 'Stealing Time,' the latest work of writers/composers Tor Hyams and Lisa Neubauer. 'Stealing Time' will play as a special event in the 2012 New York Musical Theater Festival at the PTC Performance Space. 'Stealing Time' is the second NYMF project for Hyams coming off the success of 'Greenwood' starring Andrea McArdle in the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) has announced preliminary casting and final music directors for its 22nd Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2010 at New World Stages in New York City.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Café, is pleased to announce upcoming performances in January, including performances by Carey Anderson, Donna Lynne Champlin, Michele Dowdy, Joan Treacy Egan, Karen Finely, Judy Gold, Steven Lutvak, Liz McCartney, Laura Osnes & Joan Rivers.
