Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out four-week premiere engagement in Dayton, OH which concluded on Sunday, July 10.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents the world premiere family musical The Adventures of Pinocchio from July 13 to August 28, 2011. Based on Carlo Collodi's classic tale of a wooden puppet who yearns to be a real boy, this original CST Family commission will turn CST's Courtyard Theater stage into a larger-than-life, European-style marionette theater. Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza, in association with Tony Fusco and Larry Feinman, and by special arrangement with/and based on the Vereinigte Buhnen Wien GmbH production, announced that the new musical REBECCA, based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 22 at a Shubert theater to be announced. According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for Daily Mail, Tom Hiddleston is currently in talks to star in BBC TV'sHenry IV Parts 1 and 2. The project, which will be featured at the arts Olympiad, will be dircted by Richard Eyre.
