The Louis Armstrong House Museum's Gala 2013 on December 11, 2013 will be a night to remember with a special performance by the Grammy Award-winning Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks and an impressive slate of honorees.

Last night, NeNe Leakes, of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' and her husband Gregg traveled to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre to catch After Midnight, which opened earlier this week. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you exclusive photos of the duo backstage with the cast!

Last evening, Isabel and Ruben Toledo hosted a group of friends for cocktails at their Atelier before taking them to the theater in a caravan of cars to see the show and Isabel's costumes on stage. Guests included Debi Mazar, Valerie Steele, Michaela angela Davis, Tommy Tune, Candy Spelling, Joey Arias, William Ivey Long, Joel Grey, Paige Powell, Albe Clemente, Chiara Clemente and more. Real Housewife of Atlanta and music star Kandi Burruss was in attendance at the big Broadway opening of AFTER MIDNIGHT last night, and she revealed her own Broadway aspirations to Richard Ridge on the red carpet.

As previously announced, After Midnight, which opened last night at the Brooks AtkinsonTheatre, will welcome k.d. lang February 11 through March 9. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge chatted with her on the red carpet about making her Broadway debut in the show and she revealed: 'I love the music so much and I'm so excited to see Fantasia and Dule [Hill] and all of the young artists that are doing the show. I'm so excited to have three months in my head to absorb how I'm going to fit in, but as I said earlier, I don't expect to go in and change myself but just let the music do the talking and really sing my heart out. To be honest, I didn't expect to be on Broadway ever. It wasn't really in my realm of thinking. But I'm really excited now that I'm here and after the show I'm sure that I'm gonna be off the charts excited.'

As part of its In the Salon series, Symphony Space presents the acclaimed Cassatt String Quartet in a program of American-themed pieces, Friday, November 22 at 7:30 pm in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia. The concert, which marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, is a musical exploration of the evolving notion of 'the American Dream,' with Antonin Dvorak's String Quartet No. 12, 'American' (1893) the oldest work on the program.
