Due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy, the Dramatists Guild of America is cancelling their 2012 Awards Night on Monday, November 5 at The Players Club. The Dramatists Guild will reschedule the Awards Night to a later date, which will be announced in the coming weeks. The Guild's thoughts and well wishes are with everyone affected by the storm and they are most appreciative of your understanding during this difficult time.

West Palm Beach's only professional multi-award-winning resident theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, presents its 6th annual Master Playwrights Series featuring the work of Lanford Wilson, Jean Genet and Wendy Wasserstein beginning on December 10th with additional dates in February and April at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). Inspired and produced by Mark Perlberg and sponsored by Nancy and Jay Parker, the Master Playwright Series invites audience participation, discussion and an overview of the work and themes of each playwright in addition to staged readings of their work.

The Dramatists Guild of America has just announced the recipients of their annual awards, which will be presented at an awards ceremony hosted by Lisa Kron on Monday, November 5, 2012, at the Players Club in New York. Performers include Amanda Green, Mary Testa, and Kenita Miller.

It is my pleasure to announce the full cast for our production of Talley's Folly, which will be directed by Michael Wilson at the Laura Pels Theatre this winter. The actors taking on this two-hander will be Danny Burstein (Matt Friedman) and Sarah Paulson (Sally Talley).

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced the cast for the new production of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley's Folly, directed by Michael Wilson. The production will play a strictly limited engagement through November 11, with specially priced preview performances slated for October 10 and 11. For twelve years, West Palm Beach's only professional, multi-award-winning resident theatre has brought to the Palm Beaches a distinguished roster of plays under the guidance of Producing/Artistic Director William Hayes.

The limited run, which was originally scheduled to run through November 25 only, will take a 12 day break before resuming performances on December 8 and play two additional weeks through December 23.

Eclipse Theatre has announced the recipient of their Fourth Annual Corona Award: Steve Scott, Associate Producer of The Goodman Theatre. Eclipse's Corona Award honors an individual who has played an important role in supporting and nurturing the Chicago Theatre community as well as Eclipse Theatre.

(15 Vandam Street, New York City) fall 2012 season, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, is now selling tickets for its six week run on the SoHo Playhouse Mainstage. A special discount of $20 tickets will be offered for the October 13th-15th preview performances. During the regular playing schedule, $50 premium tickets and $40 general tickets will be available.
