Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond:

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics | Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey present RSO FEST, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO FEST launches at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC), tonight October 7th with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (produced in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson), followed by Darling on Monday November 4 (produced in association with Grammy Award winner Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom) and finallyJasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theatre Company).

Great performers relive their terrible performances to benefit The Performing Arts Project. On Sunday, November 3rd at Joe's Pub, Steve Pasquale (The Bridges of Madison County, 'Do No Harm', 'Rescue Me') hosts an evening of fabulous performers sharing video of their most embarrassing moments onstage and then redeeming themselves by recreating that moment live on stage. Broadway musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Big Fish, The Addams Family) will serve as the music director for the evening, which includes participation by Pasquale, Hunter Bell ([title of show], Grinch), Susan Blackwell ([title of show], 'Side By Side'), Richard Kind (The Big Knife, 'Mad About You', 'Spin City'), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, 'Do No Harm'), Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, 'Smash'), Jeremy Shamos (The Assembled Parties, Clybourne Park), and David Yazbek(The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) At the end of the evening, the audience will vote on the star performer who most redeemed themselves through their efforts that night. The cast of Broadway's FIRST DATE, the critically acclaimed new musical comedy starring Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, will celebrate the release of their Original Broadway Cast Album with a one night only cabaret at Broadway's nightclub, 54 BELOW, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 9:30 PM. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Operation Smile. Zachary Levi is a longtime supporter and Smile Ambassador for the organization, which provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe.
