The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time leads the list with eight nominations, followed by the toe-tapping new musical Top Hat receiving seven, and the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's revival of Sweeney Todd in close competition with six. Other stand-out nominations include The Audience and Kiss Me, Kate receiving five each, and Constellations, The Bodyguard and Twelfth Night with four.

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced that it would present a Sunday matinee on December 2 of the staged reading of The Ding Dongs or What Is the Penalty in Portugal? by Brenda Withers, in addition to the originally scheduled Monday evening performance on December 3. All of the plays featured in the company's staged reading series in 2013 will also have two performances.

Amphibian Stage Productions previously announced casting for its next main stage production, The True History of the Tragic Life and Triumphant Death of Julia Pastrana, the Ugliest Woman in the World by Shaun Prendergast. Bob Hess, Mary Lang, Brandon J. Murphy, Chandler Smith, and Jessica Vera will star in a new production of this powerful play running tonight, October 25 through November 18 at the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at 120 South Main Street. This production will be the first in Amphibian's new home in the Near Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth.

HISTORY FILMS(TM), RADiUS-TWC and PARTICIPANT MEDIA in association with Moxie Pictures will team up for THE UNKNOWN KNOWN: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF DONALD RUMSFELD, a feature documentary directed by Academy Award winner Errol Morris (The Fog of War; A Brief History of Time; The Thin Blue Line). The project was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of HISTORY(R); Tom Quinn and Jason Janego, Co-Presidents of RADiUS-TWC; and Jim Berk, Chief Executive Officer of PARTICIPANT MEDIA. The film will be released theatrically next year in North America by RADiUS -TWC, the Weinstein Company's multi-platform label.
Tommy Lee Jones Among Donostia Award Honorees at San Sebastian Festival

The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.
