Dead Writers Theatre Collective presents an elegant yet intimate celebration of Noel Coward's life, work and times with Oh, Coward! This sumptuous two-act musical revue runs August 26 through September 18 at The Athenaeum Theatre. "This was one of the last Noel Coward shows staged during his lifetime," states DWTC Artistic Director Jim Schneider. "Originally devised for Off-Broadway by Roderick Cook, it's a wonderful cabaret approach.  It features two men and a woman covering Coward's favorite songs and scenes from his plays and musicals."

Fisayo Akinade, Sharon D Clarke and Alex Hassell have been cast in Caryl Churchill's new 10-minute play PIGS AND DOGS. Rehearsals start on Monday 11 July 2016. Pigs and Dogs runs from Wednesday 20 July 2016 to Saturday 30 July 2016 in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs. Press night is on Friday 22 July 2016, 6.30pm.

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances will begin July 22nd and continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company Artistic Director Martha Lavey engages in conversation with John Lahr about his latest book, Tennessee Williams: Mad Pilgrimage of the Flesh in a special one-night-only event, Monday, October 13 at 7pm in the Downstairs Theatre. Lahr, who served as senior drama critic for The New Yorker for more than two decades, recently released his twentieth book, an authoritative, extraordinary biography on Tennessee Williams that invites intimate access into the mind of a playwright whose work reshaped the American theater.
