Christie Brinkley, one of the world's most successful supermodels, will make her Boston debut in the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning hit musical "Chicago." She will star as merry murderess Roxie Hart with John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn in a strictly limited 6-show engagement at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre tonight, November 1-4. Press night is set for tonight, November 1 at 7:30 pm. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 7 at 10 am.

The beauty, intelligence, charisma and singular silver voice of Melissa Errico has been wowing audiences since she was plucked out of Yale to star in the first national touring company of Les Miserables. Since then, Broadway has embraced her in My Fair Lady (Eliza, 1993 revival), High Society, Amour (Tony nomination) and, most recently, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Kennedy Center audiences applauded her performance as Dot opposite Raul Esparza's George in Sunday in the Park with George. Having sung throughout the world in some of the most prestigious concert halls, and having released three critically-heralded CDs, Blue Like That, Lullabies and Wildflowers and A Legrand Affair (produced by Phil Ramone), look for Melissa lighting up 54 Below this Fall with a brand new evening of tales and tunes right before she starts rehearsals for the first New York revival of Stephen Sondheim's Passion! 54 Below will welcome Broadway's own Michael Cerveris for two very special performances only on November 2-3, featuring him and his band, the magnificent Loose Cattle. Broadway was introduced to Michael in The Who's Tommy. Since then, audiences have embraced him in leading roles in Titanic, Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Lovemusik and, among others, his current Tony-winning performance as Juan Peron in Evita. On October 31, Cadavaret- Broadway's Halloween Cabaret, will be hosted by Lance Roberts (Broadway's Ghost, Sister Act, Jafar in Disney's Aladdin and The King of Cartoons in The Pee Wee Herman Show on Broadway). As previously announced, this fall, Broadway's acclaimed record-breaking revival of the Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO will welcome singer, songwriter, actor and multi-platinum recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus in his Broadway stage debut as 'that silver-tongued prince of the courtroom,' slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn. Cyrus will play a limited seven-week engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.) this holiday season, Monday November 5 through Sunday, December 23. 54 Below, has announced that Tony Award winner Andrea Martin will play a three-night engagement of her show "Andrea Martin: Laughing Matters" at 54 Below tonight, October 9 and October 10 and 11 at 7PM. (Originally scheduled to appear at the venue last June, Martin was forced to postpone her engagement due to a bronchial infection.) Seth Rudetsky (Sirius XM Satellite Radio, The Ritz) will join Andrea at the piano.

While nobody ever said musical theatre was easy – at least, nobody with any real knowledge of the art – you would think that in writing a musical about the first worldwide beloved figure of the 20th Century there wouldn't be too much trouble establishing empathy.  But the surprisingly dry and emotionless Chaplin, presented in a respectably strong Broadway production, tries to cram so many facts into its two acts that there's Little Room left for feeling.
