AVENUE Q Headed Back Off-Broadway - Show to Open October 9 at New World Stages!

Some things aren't only for now! Announced from the stage tonight by producer Kevin McCollum was the unprecedented news that AVENUE Q was making theatre history by moving BACK off Broadway and that it will re-open on October 9, 2009 at New World Stages. The show will be presented in its entirety and from the same production, design and producer team as its current Broadway incarnation. An official announcement is expected tomorrow.

Michael Martinez is proud to present An Evening of Music and Comedy VI at Don't Tell Mama. This showcase and variety show will feature singers Analisa Leaming (Annie - National Tour and The Sound Of Music -Asian Tour), Gabriella Marie Antonino, and Zander Meisner (National Tours of Annie and CATS). Composer and lyricist Zoe Sarnak with singers Christina Buckley and Rachel Flynn, will perform songs from her original new musical 'The Quad'.

The Hollywood Bowl transforms into the world's largest movie theater when the perennially popular Sing-A-Long Sound of Music returns for the eighth time on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., with the event's signature costume parade hosted by actress-comedienne Melissa Peterman at 6 p.m.

Five-time Grammy-winner Faith Hill makes her Hollywood Bowl debut with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and fellow Grammy-winner, conductor David Campbell, for a special evening of music from the iconic performer?s multi-platinum recording career, Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, at 8:30 p.m. The first half of the concert, performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (HBO), features an unexpected mix of movie scores and other eclectic selections chosen by Campbell and Hill. No strangers to each other, Hill and Campbell?s previous collaborations include her 2002 release, Cry, Christmas CD, Joy to the World, and Hill?s recording of the Oscar-nominated ?There You?ll Be,? from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack, arranged and conducted by Campbell. Britain's Got Talent star Shaheen Jafargholi was invited by Michael Jackson's family to sing at his memorial service in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 7th at the Staples Center. Jafargholi sang 'Who's Lovin' You' at the memorial for Michael Jackson. The young talent has also visited the cast of 'Thriller - Live', the smash West End hit that celebrates the late King of Pop.

The Recording Academy and T-Mobile Sidekick announced the full lineup for the second GRAMMY Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile Sidekick that includes some of today's most talented and recognizable musical acts including Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Estelle, Lady GaGa, Leona Lewis, LL Cool J, N.E.R.D., Katy Perry and Gavin Rossdale. In addition, the resident DJ for the entire tour will be recording artist and 'American Idol' runner-up Blake Lewis.
