BroadwayWorld has a first look at Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo; check out the cast and creatives in rehearsal!

On Monday, January 8, Theater People podcast welcome's back Broadway favorite Telly Leung. For the episode, Leung discusses recently winning the title role in Disney's ALADDIN on Broadway. He also shares stories from his recent work on IN TRANSIT and ALLEGIANCE.

Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo: Homelife & The Zoo Story. This new production, directed by Drama Desk Award-winner Lila Neugebauer (Signature Plays, Everybody), honors Legacy Playwright Edward Albee, who was in residence at Signature during the 1993-94 Season and returned to the company for four more productions. Albee passed away in 2016.

On Monday, December 18 the Theater People podcast welcomes Olivier Award winner Leslie Margherita (MATILDA THE MUSICAL, DAMES AT SEA, ZORRO THE MUSICAL). On what will be the final Theater People episode of 2018, Margherita discusses WHO'S HOLIDAY, The one woman show in which she is currently starring as a grown up Cindy Lou Hoo--the character from the beloved Dr. Seuss Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

She also shares all the details of HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda coming to her apartment and doing a 4-hour interview for the podcast.

On Monday, October 9, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway and TV star Hlene Yorke. Helene made her Broadway debut in 2008 in GREASE. She went on to originate the role of Olive in BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and Evelyn in AMERICAN PSYCHO. On television, she is well known for her work on THE GOOD FIGHT, MASTERS OF SEX, and GRAVES.

On Monday, October 2, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan. Jeremy Jordan made his Broadway debut in 2009's ROCK OF AGES. He went on to play the Tony alternate, appearing twice per week, in the 2009 revival of WEST SIDE STORY. In 2011 he originated the role of Clyde Barrow in BONNIE AND CLYDE. And he received his first Tony nomination for originating the role of Jack Kelly in 2011's NEWSIES.

Award-winning and sector-leading London based theater company Frantic Assembly (Movement Direction, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) visits NYC's HB Studio this Fall to teach a Physical Theater Masterclass. Frantic Assembly's widely studied method of devising theater from a physical starting point has been impacting theatrical practice for up to 24 years. The workshop, now enrolling, is scheduled for October 22, 2017.

Attending Julliard had been a life-long dream and when she was wait listed, she had to get creative in order to make her admission a reality. On Wednesday, August 30, Theater People podcast welcomes CATS star Tyler Hanes. Since making his Broadway debut as a teenager in 2002's OKLAHOMA, Hanes has racked up nine Broadway credits including HAIRSPRAY, THE BOY FROM OZ, SWEET CHARITY, A CHORUS LINE, and ON THE TOWN.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Thomas Meehan, who is best known for his books of such classics as Annie, The Producers and Hairspray, has passed away at 88 years old.

On Monday, August 7th Theater People podcast welcomes Alexandra Silber and Reed Birney in a two-part episode. In the first segment, Silber discusses her new novel 'After Anatevka' which tells the story of Hodel, the middle daughter in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, after the action of the beloved musical ends. Silber also discusses her career in The West End (THE WOMAN IN WHITE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF) and on Broadway (MASTER CLASS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF) and shares how her life journey prepared her to write her book. In the second segment, Tony winner Reed Birney discusses his work in the provocative new production of 1984, a play based on George Orwell's 1949 novel.

Curvy Widow, a new musical comedy with a book by Bobby Goldman, music and lyrics by Drew Brody (Broadway: Oh Hello: Outman), and directed by Peter Flynn (Rhapsody in Seth; Two Rooms), is currently playing at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
