The full cast and further dates have been announced for a new 20th Anniversary production of Jonathan Larson's of Pulitzer Prize- & Tony Award-Winning Musical RENT. Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd, are delighted to announce the addition of further dates to the tour schedule for the new 20th Anniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT. Rehearsals start today, Monday 12 September, under the direction of Bruce Guthrie.

A reading of PAPER SON, a play written and directed by Christine Toy Johnson (currently playing 'Bloody Mary' in SOUTH PACIFIC at the Guthrie Theater), will be presented on Monday, August 8 at 7 pm in the Guthrie's Kitchak Lounge, 818 S. 2nd Street, Level 3, Minneapolis, MN.

The 20th Anniversary production of Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT is the fastest selling show in the history of the St. James Theatre, having sold the most tickets not only in a 24-hour period after on-sale, but also in the first week of an on-sale period. RENT also breaks the record for the most amount of money taken on the first day of sales, beating the theatre's previous fastest selling show record-holders, Sideways and The Pianist of Willesden Lane.

Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd and Wales Millennium Centre, are presenting the 20thAnniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT.  After opening at Theatr Clwyd for a limited season from 21 October to 12 November 2016, RENT will go on a three-week tour, prior to a Christmas Season at St. James Theatre, London from 8 December 2016 to 28 January 2017, with a national press night on Tuesday 13 December 2016.  2017 tour dates are to be announced.  The new production will be directed by Bruce Guthrie.  

The smash hit musical ELF has already broken several box office records during its current 10-week run at the Dominion Theatre in London, where performances began on 24 October. The show has broken the box office record three times for the highest selling show since the Dominion Theatre opened, and has also beaten the Dominion's box office record for the highest grossing week ever.

In an unprecedented move, the producers of the smash hit musical ELF, opening at the newly refurbished Dominion Theatre in the heart of London's West End, have bowed to overwhelming public and social media demand to introduce a more affordable ticket price to broaden the already wide demographic the show is attracting.  The new price brand of £30 for a limited number of tickets through the run becomes available at the Dominion box office by telephone and via the website from Sunday 6 September.

Prepare to be thoroughly enchanted by Oregon Shakespeare Festival's transfer of INTO THE WOODS newly arrived at the Wallis Center in Beverly Hills. Wallis Center for the Performing Arts (aka 'The Wallis') presents the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's critically acclaimed production of the Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods for a limited 24-performance engagement December 2-21, 2014 (gala opening is Wednesday, December 3) at the Bram Goldsmith Theater. Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, is directed by Amanda Dehnert.
