Rolex presents A HALLOWEEN THRILLER A Dance Celebration of Ghosts, Ghouls, Vampires & Wilis, - Career Transition For Dancers' 26th Anniversary Jubilee on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 7:00 pm at New York City Center, 131 West 55 Street (btwn. 6th and 7th Ave) NYC.

On Monday, October 3, 2011, Bebe Neuwirth will present a special one-time only concert that she is also directing and starring in to benefit the partnership between our organization, Equine Advocates (www.equineadvocates.org) and the Henry Street Settlement (www.henrystreet.org) in lower Manhattan. She and a group of Broadway stars, including Brenda Braxton, Jason Danieley, Marin Mazzie, Roger Rees and Karen Ziemba, in addition to a special performance by the Dontee Dance Company, will present 'Bebe Neuwirth & Friends' at the Abrons Arts Center. Suave leading man Ron Raines sheds light on the central, pivotal role of Benjamin Stone and how he sees the character - in his youth, in his marriage, in the present and, also, in the future, post-Loveland and, even post-FOLLIES - as well as illuminates his interactions with the colorful array of stars he shares the stage with eight nights a week - chief among them: Bernadette Peters, Elaine Paige and Jan Maxwell! Additionally, we discuss what has changed in the transfer from Washington, D.C. to NYC, as well as examine the underlying message and story told in Ben's stunning musical triptych of 'The Road You Didn't Take', 'Too Many Mornings' and 'Live, Laugh, Love'. As if all that were not enough, Raines and I cast a glance back at his previous stage and screen work and discuss his solo albums, upcoming concert appearances and much, much more! Plus, first news of his essaying of the title role in SWEENEY TODD with Karen Ziemba in St. Louis next summer, directed by the helmer of the original Christopher Bond play that inspired Sondheim to compose the musical adaptation in the first place back in 1969.

Surflight Theatre, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Roy Miller and Executive Producer Timothy Laczynski, continues its 2011 season with I Do! I Do!, the Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical based on The Fourposter by Jan de Hartog.

The Broadway Experience returned for a fourth summer at The Manhattan Movement & Arts Center from July 25th - August 7th. With over 60 classes, workshops, lectures, and a performance based second week, TBE had some very special guest speakers this year, Chita Rivera and Bebe Neuwirth. Cape May Stage, South Jersey's premier professional Equity theatre, begins performances of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias tonight in anticipation of an opening tomorrow, August 4. Karen Ziemba is set to lead the Cape May Stage production of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias, which will run August 3 through September 10. Also set to star in the show are Ellen Dolan, Nicole Lowrance, Kate McCauley Hathaway, Marlena Lustik and Meredith Riley Stewart.
