There is one musical, though, that actually has a number of sequels to its credit. The hit show Nunsense hasn't just spawned one or two follow-ups, it actually has nine shows which are considered sequels or spin-offs of the original. Now, Community Players is presenting the second in that line, Nunsense 2: The Second Coming.

OSTC Receives Six Motif Awards

On Monday, August 25, 2014, the Motif Magazine Theater Awards were presented at a ceremony held at Fete in Providence, RI. Since 2006, Motif Magazine has recognized excellence in local theater at many different levels - including Professional (Equity), Semi-Professional (Non-Equity) and Community. This year's awards included productions which were presented between July 2013 and June 2014. Ocean State Theatre Company is proud to have been recognized with a total of six awards - four of which were for their critically acclaimed production of Les Miserables.
